TON of news!

ok well only really 3 big things that have been going on, first:

first: i started going to a fencing club, yes you read right, a REAL fencing club. its for people in wheelchairs and it is SO MUCH FUN!!!! ill post pictures when i can but honestly i dont think ive met as nice as people as the ones that i have met in this organization. it is so amazing and i love going there. i won my first match! the guy i was going against was all talk, taunting me and teasing me telling me hes gonna beat me really bad, and then i BEAT him!! it was only by 1 pt but it still counts!! plus he cheated......he would start to fight me before the score person would say go/fence and he also grabbed my sword!! cheater!! haha but regardless i still won :). my instructor is amazing too, he actually went to the olympics for fencing and got 4th.

second: Jessica had her baby on wed!!!! it was an awesome experience coming from my side haha because she was willing to let me and my mother go in there and actually SEE the birth. it was the most amazing thing i have ever seen. to think that this little perfect baby came straight from Heavenly Father and to know he is completely perfect in every way is totally incredible. he is the cutest baby i have seen in a long time. here are pictures
.

I will post more pictures once i transfer them from my camera to my computer :)

third bit of news: so short and sweet i got an A+ in my Biology class :) happy day!! one class down 2 more to go til the semseter is over!!!!

New Moon

ok ok TRUST ME! i have not switched my team at all. i will forever be an "edward fan" but honestly i will be forever a Taylor fan Vs Robert..... i mean come on, hear me out, just LOOK at the differences.

i HAVE to give the guy props. he gained 30 lbs of muscle for this movie!!! and yeah so props to Taylor. (yes i do like the shorter hair but i have to comment on the pic with his long hair...it was really funny, it was the FIRST time he takes his shirt off and there was squeeling in the movie etc it was realy funny.)

now heres Robert (please ignore the dots...i dont know what is going on with the pic.)

yes, we see he is buff, but i just cant get past the paleness... i know thats the point but uhg.. anyway, i just had to get that off my cest a little bit. anyway, the movie was great! i l-0-v-e-d it. people will bash it like always but i loved it

me, my sister, and her friend went to see it yesterday, first we went to pei wei and that was fun and also gave us a good laugh. the check out guy there was well (putting it nicely i hope) very openly gay, so Amy had a scarf that she made and he looked at it and asked her "where did you get that amazing scarf?" and she said
"well i made it actually" and his response was just so completely--i dont know if shocking is the right word--but no one knew how to respond to it. he looked at her in shock and said in this really gay/girly voice

"SHUT UP!" it was sooo funny that amy and i couldn't stop telling eachother to shut up the entire night. it was so funny!!!

so then after that we obvioulsy went to the movie, and yes, it was amazing. go see it. i know i am again! :)

school

so just a lil update since so many people say i dont update enough.

school:
i am in 3 classes right now two if which im doing very well in, so well that i am actually finished with 100% of the homework in one class (my biology class) and the other i have an A in.

the other class.......well.....lets just say im struggling a little. ok a lot but i still have time! so yesterday i was at school from 8-5 for ONE class.... my bio class and decided to just hand in everything to my teacher. she gave me this great look like, "what the heck are you giving me all of this for??" so i explained my situation and told her that i needed to consintrate more on my one class and so thats why i finished everything early. she was happy to take the homework (because shes cool like that) and so everything worked out great.

anyway. theres my little update, i hope it didnt make you fall asleep because it IS pretty boring....BUT in all honesty thats my life ::BORING:: so.........enjoy :)

David Cook

Yummy............................hehe hes just amazing, so anyway i just kind of off the whim decided that i wanted to go see david cook at the fair, and REALLY needed someone to go with me, so i asked around, no one really responded or knew who he really was, so i called up Adriean Gray and asked her and she said YEAH!! so we got the tickets and they were amazing seats. we were like probably around 10 rows back from the stage. which was GREAT seats. so heres the pics i took.

Halloween 2009

  • ok so heres a new update: i know its a little late but its better late than never right? so heres the story, my mom is an AMAZING seamstress and i told her what i wanted to be fore halloween and we looked up the costume that i wanted to get but it was around 40 bucks and its just something that i did NOT want to buy. so my mom said "hey THATS easy i could totally make that" and i was like "really...??? lets DO IT!!!!" so we went shopping for the materials and got started. i was so excited. it took around 2 weeks to finish, this was the origional costume that was around 40 bucks...

and...... THIS is OUR version of the costume!!
it was GREAT!!! i LOVED that costume!!!!!
the only thing i had to actually buy online was the wig. and i loved that too because it wasnt hot at all to wear. phew!! so all in all it was a great halloween. the trunk or treat was great, it was fun to see all my home-ward friends and to see all the awesome costumes. then actual halloween was great! the family came over and we had dinner,
and played games, made pumpkin carvings

from left to right: the joker, scary skeleton, boogy man peaking through blinds, Jack from nightmare before christmas, and EDWARD from Twilight :)

edward won the contest of course and that was done by shane and jessica
mine came in second with the Joker :)

GREAT HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!

i couldnt be happier!

I think that i have never been as happy about something than I am right now. so since '06 i have always thought that i needed a BA degree in order for me to be licensed in interpreting for sign language, but today i went into my counselors office and she told me that the deadline to get your AA degree is June 2012 which means if i get my AA degree BEFORE that date i DONT need to get my BA degree to be a licensed interpreter!!!!!!! AND IM GETTING MY AA THIS MAY!!!!!!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!!!! i just took off like 3 years of schooling! i cant even explain how happy i am right now. it is unbelieaveable that this has happened im still in shock.

the wedding

so i know i am far overdue for an update so here is a good long one.its been about a month now since i went to Utah for my cousins wedding. and lemme tell ya i would totally move there if
it wasnt for the snow in the winter....it was SOOO beautiful!! we started out and spent the night in ___________ and had the chance to see the broadway version of "footloose" with Thane (from season 4 so you think you can dance) as the boy main character. the cool thing about the entire thing was that it
was an outside production and the backdrop was a REALLY cool mountain :) yeah pretty awesome i know haha oh i also met the main characters too after the performance. so that was day one then the next day we drove all the way to Salt lake and visited my dads brother Jerry and his wife because we havent seen them in a while because he is a mission president now. it was REALLY nice seeing them. so after that meeting we drove to Logan and stayed a few days with my grandma and grandpa at their house. for the rest of the vacation we spent our time at my Aunt and Uncles cabbin ::mansion:: hehe its HUGE and we loved it.... it overlooked bear lake and was just absolutely amazing. we also spent some time helping my cousin get ready for her big day. few bumps and drama along the way but it was great. the wedding was beautiful and everything was pretty perfect :)

Congratulations Ginger & Aaron!!

Family camping trip 2009

So, i just got back yesterday from a camping trip i took with the family, it was wonderful. PLAY BY PLAY TIME

saturday: drive up to Sharp Creek (where the YW have their camping site), we set up camp and had dinner with Brother Murphy and his two youngest girls. we all were suppose to have tin foil dinner but some forgot which was funny because earlier before we got to the camp EVERYONE was suppose to bring a sack lunch so that we could eat lunch at the camp but no one brought their lunches and eat at McDonalds instead haha

sunday: it began as a lazy day which was sort of boring until my dad said that me and him could FINALLY go target shooting!!! im pretty good with the guns he has, now...forgive me if i get the numbers wrong but i was able to shoot the target with a 9mm a 32mm and a 356 (six shooter) ? i know i got the 9 right lol i just cant remember the other two hahaha anyway i did REALLY good shooting each and im excited to get to get my licence to own my own gun possibly a 9mm? :)

monday went shooting again and also went to the lake :) that was fun as well ooh and i THINK this was the day it hailed or maybe that was sunday.. but it hailed really bad it was awesome!

tuesday: sadly it was the day to go home so we packed up and were out (late) but we got out at least by 1:30

THE END :P

BELLY BUTTON INSERT!!!

so Paige ( my niece) is over, she spent the night and my mom was helping her get in the bath tub in my bathroom and she saw some boob inserts that my sister Amy gave me. she looked at them and said "gramma what are these? are these for Hilary's belly button?" and my mom said (not wanting to explain the true context of the implants :P) "why yes! those are belly button implants. see you just put 'em over your belly button and instead of having an innie you will have an outie." and paige, having her swimming suit on, she took one of the implants and stuffed it down her suit clear to ther belly button! it looked like she had the beginning of a beer belly it was REALLY funny

i probably just had one if the best times ever.....well in a really long time, i got the chance to do something with my sister. i got tickets to see WICKED with her for her birthday and it was worth it. i think i am officially in love.......with the play that is. i would see it 5 more times or more!! seeing with my sister made it even better! i had a great time with her (you) hehe cuz you are probably reading this. and i am so thankful that we are as close as we are. i cant wait to do something like this again. EMAIL ME THE PICS (or what you actually have haha) since there was a grumpy usher saying we couldnt take pictures inside the theatre (which is a new rule from the last time i went....) anyway love you sis and cant wait to have another adventure with ya.

just a little tribute

today was the funeral of a family's little girl and the father wrote a beautiful poem in memory of their daughter. i hope he doesnt mind that i post it, i just felt so touched by it..

from heaven above to families below.
Heavenly Father sends children, to be loved and to grow.
you arrived a bit early, twenty-four weeks and two days,
one pound and ten ounces. oh you were so brave

your short little life was full as could be.
from heartbreak to miracles, you helped many to see.
you inspired not one, not two but all who came near.
we learned to pray with a purpose, to let heaven draw near.

your eyes fused shut at the start of your trial.
we pleaded with heaven, your body so frail.
as the days went along, you became healthy and strong.
your body so small became chubby and long.

your eyes opened up, so wide and so bright.
we could not help but see your great light.
you came to the earth to follow God's plan.
your life had a purpose; we saw it so grand!

at thirteen weeks and four days, we said our goodbyes.
we love you, we miss you, especially those eyes.
to heaven you go to await the great day.
when your body will rise for always to stay.

we love you, we miss you, you are ours forever sure.
one day we will hug; as for now, we endure.
as we are faithful, God's promise assures...
keep smiling little "bright eyes". God's peace is now yours

RIP Jessica Stone.. you are an inspiration of strength..

WICKED

so here is my next update :) it has been some time since my last post and just thought id take some time and tell you all some stuff....so about 2-3 weeks ago it was my sister Amy's birthday and the Sunday before we were talking about "WICKED" tickets and how they were 130+ dollars...so we were all depressed because we really wanted to go!!!! so i was planning on getting them either way no matter what so i actually got them for her Birthday. now i am the best sister in the world :P jk but im excited, shes excited and the funny thing is it didnt cost that much as it was on the internet.... weird....anyway so i got the tickets and im sooooo excited they are july 16th and second row ALMOST center..... the funny part of this story is that mom gets these promotional codes and i noticed that my sisters friend becki was online on facebook and she had posted a "wicked" advertisement and i posted a comment saying HEY i just got mine (not realizing that it still was not possible to get them publically now. so we talked for a while and i gave her the promotion code and now she loves me :) haha then on friday i went to work and my boss just couldnt wait to get her tickets and so i gave HER the promotion code and she got her tickets right then and there and then txted HER friend gave HER the code and SHE got her tickets....all in all i helped like 20 people get tickets and that made me feel good :)

so yeah theres my funny story

CATS

so last night was so much fun, i saw Cats with my mom. we were literally front row center, and it was a HUGE surprise wat was going to happen....i had absolutely no idea that the characters were going to come off stage and interact with the audience....
http://www.markandmercedes.com/home/images/jc_catsbroadway.jpg

i mean literally they would get off stage and get like a foot away or even closer to your face. one of the characters even came down and grabbed a girl about 3-4 seats down from us and started dancing with her. it was HILARIOUS!
yeah this is the one (he was an elvis impersonator

the lady that sane 'memories' was amazing!!!!

the only thing i can say bad about the play is that there were NO dialog OR plot. it was pure singing because all of the songs were actually written poems by T.S Elliot. after about the first half we knew what to expect the rest of the way so we enjoyed it a lot more :) all in all it was a very memorable play and i enjoyed it a lot.

PS: EMAIL ME IF THE LINKS DONT WORK :)

sign 5 presentation 3

oh my goodness so ok for those that dont know im in a Sign Language class (its suppose to be the last and HARDEST class to pass with a B before you get into the interpreting program.) now that we've got that background out of the way, the object of the class is to do 4 presentations that are 3-4 min long memorized and entirely in sign langauge. my teacher is a great teacher, before i was in the class people would tell me that she is the worse teacher and she scares them and all these horror stories. but now that im in the class i can see that she is a great teacher and just wants to teach us to become better signers.

anyway on to the story. so this 3rd presentation that i did i had to tell a story from a real book or movie of my choice. i choose "a walk to remember" the requirements of the presentation as far as time is it CAN be 2:50-4:10 no more no less than those times. or you will get points off of the total amount..... so im waiting and watching to see how people are doing, and im actually timing them in my phone cuz i have a cool phone with a stop watch hehe jk anyway and i noticed that everyone was going over the 4:10 limit and even some going over 5 minutes! i was REALLY starting to freak out....so i went up there did the story and was SOOOO worried that i had gone over because i thought i was up there forever..... i got home and my friend corey txted me and she said that she checked her CD and she was at 5:45......at this point i was so worried i didnt even want to look at my cd.....so she asked me what i was at and so i was sort of forced to look at it..... to my disbelief my time was 3:47 i had done my presentation in the perfect time. i was extatic!! i cant even describe the happiness i had at that moment. i squeeled!! haha now its the long process of grading myself on how i think i did. which in adverage has taken me 8 hrs per presentation....... and this is my 3rd one... ONE MORE TO GO!!! then im done!! YEAH!!!

my many great adventures!

so first about a month ago i went to a really great party and met the most nicest people. Laurie K. and her husband Tim opened their own dance studio right across from Bashas, Laurie's son and daughter (Benji Schwimmer and Lacey Schwimmer) are professional dancers and they were there. i BELIEVE both were on "so you think you can dance," in which Benji one, one season. and lacy is now on "dancing with the stars" with her dance partner being Stev-o :) it was really fun! here are some pics of that night

so here is a big update on whats been going on lately. so a few weeks ago maybe 3 weeks i had the opportunity to go skiing! it was a blast! i was able to do this through a program called Daring Adventures. the program takes kids and adults with disabilities to places that normally people wouldnt expect that they would be able to go. we went up to flagstaff and were there from sat-sunday. the first day was great. it started out a little rough only because they cut my ski poles too short, but after we got new poles that were the right length i was able to just go and enjoy the day. it was actually warm! which is not what i was expecting at all.... we (the group of about 20 people) went for at least a mile 1/2, we ate lunch, then went out again for another mile 1/2 it was a loooong day and boy was i tired... we went out to eat at krackerberrel and they had pretty decent food (i had shrimp of course) then as i was about to leave i saw some jewlery (which is totally a weakness of mine) so i baught a bracelete. as i was checking out with my checkout person, the checkout guy next to him was checking ME out... i looked at him, said hi and he responded "did you.....did you go to Shadow Mountain High shcool? that really threw me back cuz what are the odds that i would see someone that graduated a year before me???? and how someone would actually remember me from that long ago! it was crazy. so after that we left went to the hotel and the next morning was the BEST day. my instructor personally took me on sort of a private path so that we could go up this HUGE hill like 150 ft or more hill with a down slope that was crazy. so we FINALLY got up the hill and we were ready to ride it down so my instructor went first and then it was my turn. well the person that was helping me did what she was suppose to do and i got in the position that i needed to be to go down hill and....well long story short my pole got stuck in her sunglasses and then her ski got stuck in the wrist strap of my other pole all in all..we were in trouble. i got loose about 10 ft down from the top and ended up turning....i hit a log and got about 6 inches or more of air. the back of my ski got caught on the log and it ended up tipping my whole sit ski and i ended up pinned against a tree.. i didnt get hurt at all; in fact i was laughing the entire time. so second try we went ALL the way down the hill with no accidents. it was sooooo much fun (cept all of the younger guys 16,15 hit on me the entire time) haha pretty funny stuff..

second thing that i did was last week i went to get my very first REAL bike! its red and so pretty and ive been riding it every day since i got it!!!! will post pictures once i get the cam card from my dad :)

ps to all.....did NOT go skydiving.... im so sad about that so very sad...
