CATS

so last night was so much fun, i saw Cats with my mom. we were literally front row center, and it was a HUGE surprise wat was going to happen....i had absolutely no idea that the characters were going to come off stage and interact with the audience....

i mean literally they would get off stage and get like a foot away or even closer to your face. one of the characters even came down and grabbed a girl about 3-4 seats down from us and started dancing with her. it was HILARIOUS!
yeah this is the one (he was an elvis impersonator

the only thing i can say bad about the play is that there were NO dialog OR plot. it was pure singing because all of the songs were actually written poems by T.S Elliot. after about the first half we knew what to expect the rest of the way so we enjoyed it a lot more :) all in all it was a very memorable play and i enjoyed it a lot.

sign 5 presentation 3

oh my goodness so ok for those that dont know im in a Sign Language class (its suppose to be the last and HARDEST class to pass with a B before you get into the interpreting program.) now that we've got that background out of the way, the object of the class is to do 4 presentations that are 3-4 min long memorized and entirely in sign langauge. my teacher is a great teacher, before i was in the class people would tell me that she is the worse teacher and she scares them and all these horror stories. but now that im in the class i can see that she is a great teacher and just wants to teach us to become better signers.

anyway on to the story. so this 3rd presentation that i did i had to tell a story from a real book or movie of my choice. i choose "a walk to remember" the requirements of the presentation as far as time is it CAN be 2:50-4:10 no more no less than those times. or you will get points off of the total amount..... so im waiting and watching to see how people are doing, and im actually timing them in my phone cuz i have a cool phone with a stop watch hehe jk anyway and i noticed that everyone was going over the 4:10 limit and even some going over 5 minutes! i was REALLY starting to freak out....so i went up there did the story and was SOOOO worried that i had gone over because i thought i was up there forever..... i got home and my friend corey txted me and she said that she checked her CD and she was at 5:45......at this point i was so worried i didnt even want to look at my cd.....so she asked me what i was at and so i was sort of forced to look at it..... to my disbelief my time was 3:47 i had done my presentation in the perfect time. i was extatic!! i cant even describe the happiness i had at that moment. i squeeled!! haha now its the long process of grading myself on how i think i did. which in adverage has taken me 8 hrs per presentation....... and this is my 3rd one... ONE MORE TO GO!!! then im done!! YEAH!!!
